What is Decision Intelligence?

Decision Intelligence is the discipline of organising evidence, signals, sources and workflows around a specific decision — so that professionals and organisations can exercise judgement with clarity, provenance and accountability.

From AI tools to Decision Intelligence Systems

Most AI tools generate output. A Decision Intelligence System organises what a decision rests on: the sources, the verification state, the missing evidence, the counterparties, the professional review surface. AI is infrastructure for the decision, not a substitute for it.

The shift is architectural. Instead of a chat interface producing an answer, a Decision Intelligence System produces a structured decision surface — auditable, explainable, and grounded in traceable evidence.

AI-native systems

An AI-native system is designed from the ground up so that classification, normalisation, retrieval and reasoning are first-class primitives — not plug-ins on top of a legacy workflow. This is what allows fragmented information to become a coherent decision object.

Explainable reasoning

Every material signal in a Chainplug Decision Intelligence System carries its provenance and verification status. When the system organises or summarises, it does so against sources that a professional can inspect. No black-box verdicts. No implied certainty.

Knowledge and Evidence Graphs

A Knowledge Graph models entities and their relationships. An Evidence Graph adds the layer that matters for high-trust decisions: which source said what, when, with what reliability, and whether a qualified professional has reviewed it. Evidence Graphs turn scattered documents into a queryable decision substrate.

Trust Infrastructure

Decision Intelligence rests on Trust Infrastructure — the connective layer that tracks provenance and lineage, makes verification explicit, exposes auditable evidence surfaces, and preserves clear accountability boundaries between systems and professionals.

Where it belongs

Decision Intelligence Systems are meaningful in markets where information is fragmented, trust is difficult to establish, evidence matters, professional judgement remains essential, and the cost of a wrong decision is high — real estate, compliance, finance, insurance, institutional trust workflows, procurement and due diligence.

Corporate vision

Chainplug is an AI Venture & Intelligence Company. We identify fragmented markets and build long-term Trust Infrastructure and Decision Intelligence Systems for them. STRATAFORM — a Decision Intelligence Operating System for Italian real estate — is our first proof point. The thesis is meant to extend across verticals with the same structural properties.
